Our commitment to the center is long-standing, and together we have contributed to Misto Dobra since 2022.
How have we done this?
We, our customers, preschool children, residents and clients have achieved this together through various activities, which we are proud and happy about.
Aberia Norway has also opted out of Christmas gifts for employees and instead donated the corresponding amount to the center.

Before the war, Misto Dobra operated as a crisis center for women and children exposed to violence. After the war began, they took in three fully staffed orphanages from Eastern Ukraine and have been receiving refugees (women and children) from areas near the front lines. Misto Dobra still functions as a crisis center, but now also runs orphanages, a kindergarten, and a refugee center. They also assist poor families, children’s hospitals, and lonely and impoverished elderly people with food, medicine, and other necessities.

More people than Misto Dobra can currently assist are in need of help. Around 250 women and children live at the center today. Many of these children are severely traumatized as a result of the war. Several of them have serious disabilities, and some are orphans.
Misto Dobra is now working to expand its capacity in order to help more victims.
Together with our sister companies in the NHC Group – Hero, Norlandia & Kidsa Kindergarten, Frösunda, and Norlandia Care – we are launching a fundraising campaign in support of Misto Dobra. Through this page and our social media channels, you can follow and take part in the project, as well as our upcoming travel journal when we visit the center in Ukraine.
Many small efforts can grow into something big and provide vital help and support for the children fleeing the war. Together, we can make a difference.
Før krigen drev Misto Dobra et krisesenter for voldsutsatte kvinner og barn. Etter krigens start har de mottatt tre fullt bemannede barnehjem fra Øst-Ukraina og de har tatt imot flyktninger (kvinner og barn) fra områder nær fronten. Misto Dobra er fortsatt et krisesenter, men driver nå også barnehjem, barnehage og flyktningsenter. De hjelper også fattige familier, barnesykehus og ensomme og fattige eldre med mat, medisiner og andre behov.
Flere enn Misto Dobra kan hjelpe i dag trenger hjelp. Rundt 250 kvinner og barn bor på senteret i dag. Mange av disse barna er alvorlig traumatisert som følge av krigen. Flere av barna har store og alvorlige funksjonshemninger. Flere av barna er foreldreløse.
Misto Dobra jobber nå med å utvide sin kapasitet for å kunne hjelpe flere ofre.
Sammen med våre søsterselskaper i NHC Group: Hero, Norlandia & Kidsa barnehage, Frösunda og Norlandia Care starter vi nå vår innsamlingsaksjon til støtte for Misto Dobra. Via denne siden og i våre sosiale medier kan du følge og ta del i prosjektet og vår kommende reisedagbok når vi besøker senteret i Ukraina.
Mange små innsatser kan bli til noe stort og gi viktig hjelp og støtte til barna som er på flukt fra krigen. Vi er mange som sammen kan gjøre en forskjell.
